PRR 1309, E-6S, c. 1950         
Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Safe Harbor, Pennsylvania, during a railfan excursion, c. 1950. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1309 and another locomotive whose road number is not recorded. #1309 is an E-6S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata during June of 1914 and retired in November of 1952 after 38 years of faithful service.
